Getting Here

Our Farmhouse in La Drutiere is located just off the D2 South of Argentan, situated in the beautiful Orne Valley, in France's largest regional park, the Normandie Maine Regional Parc. 

Follow the D2 out of Carrouges for approx. 3km until you see a sign post on the right, to St.Sauveur de Carrouges.  Directly opposite this sign post, is a turning to the left to La Drutiere, follow the Lane to the bottom and directly in front of you, you will see the gable end of a house and some green gates, where the rental property is situated (the house is sideways on to the lane). The GPS co-ordinates are: - 48.5988660139062, -0.131747336206786.  If you are coming from Argentan way, the directions are the opposite way round.

La Drutière is easily accessible from all of the ferry ports. Approximate distances and travelling times are set out below. 

From Caen:

• Approximately 91km (56m), taking just over 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
• Sail from Portsmouth.

From Calais:

• Approximately 384km (238m), taking about 4 hours by car.
• Sail from Dover.

From Dieppe

• Approximately 221km (137m) taking about 2 hours 20 minutes car.
• Sail from Newhaven.

From Cherbourg:

• Approximately 208km (129m), taking about 2 hours 20 minutes by car.
• Sail from Dover.
